Hans Bar & Grill – Good Food, Lovely People, Happy Times

Summer in Chelsea… When the sun is out in London, it truly is a magnificent place to be! If you haven’t been to Chelsea yet, it is definitely worth a visit. This Saturday Clara, Frenchie and I were on a special mission… We were going to do a bit of shopping and then have dinner at Hans Bar & Grill – a wonderful all-day dining restaurant located in the very stylish and cosy Pavilion Road

Dinner at Searcys at The Gherkin – London’s most iconic skyscraper!

I am really, really excited to share this blog post with you guys! First of all, because Frenchie and I had a truly unique dining experience at Searcys at The Gherkin. Second, because I have wanted to visit this stunning skyscraper since the day I moved to London 5 years ago!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas (part II)

I know, I know… For some people it is a bit early to think about Christmas, but when you are surrounded by so much glitter in London, I just can’t help myself feeling completely excited and in love with this time of the year. There is just something about Christmas!

I couldn’t be happier! My beloved London is slowly turning into a beautiful living Christmas Carroll and I’m loving every part of it! Everywhere I turn, beautiful Christmas decorations are lightening up my city – not in a tacky way, but in a way that just makes me smile a little bit more

How to be a real Londoner

How to be a real Londoner

Ok, so I have lived in London more or less half a year now. At the beginning I was very unsure about how to behave around the locals, since nordic culture and manners are a bit different than here. This is solemnly based on my own personal experiences – and keep in mind, that it is not supposed to be taken too serious!

It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday, and Frenchie woke up before noon (that doesn’t happen very often!) To celebrate the many hours, we were given because of Frenchies unexpected open eyes, we decided to go and have a look at the Flat Iron Square flea market in South Bank, take a walk along River Thames and top up on our adventures at Tate Modern

So… I always considered myself quite a “West end girl”, but that certainly changed, when Frenchie forced me out of my natural habitat to go and have a look at Shoreditch
