Last Saturday was a special day for me. For 13 months everything has been about being a mother to Clara and doing family-related things, which I love, (so please don’t get me wrong!). I LOVE motherhood, but recently I started realising, that it was time to start doing things for myself again.
If there is one thing, I never get tired of, it is being a tourist in my own city! Sometimes Frenchie and I are on the search for quirky and unusual things to do – and other times, we enjoy visiting the traditional top attractions!
I have a weakness… I love shopping! Especially if I can get a really good deal! There is nothing better than finding a wanted item in a shop and then discover, that you can actually get it 50% off!
There is nothing better than being invited to show, that you know nothing about – and then get completely blown away! And that is exactly what happened last Friday, when I took my mother to see multi-award winning musical “Matilda the Musical” in London’s West End.
When you become a mother, you tend to forget yourself a little bit (or a lot)! I don’t really mind, though, since I get more pleasure out of giving my little girl everything she could possible need – and probably more than necessary!
Do you know that feeling? The feeling of always being busy and not really present! I certainly do – and it doesn’t get better living in a very big city, where you are surrounded by many people everywhere you go! Being pregnant has taught me a few things. First of all how important it is to “listen to my body” And lately my body has been telling me to stop and take it easy – especially now, where I am 25 weeks pregnant!
