Did you know that one of UK’s most famous shops actually have an in-store apartment? Well, I do now! After a busy day doing Christmas shopping in London, we were invited to visit this beautiful, cosy and very luxurious place… It’s called “The Residence” – and you will find it in John Lewis at Oxford Street!

How I just love entering the double-framed doors of The Kensington hotel and being welcomed by a bowler-hatted doorman! There is just something about stepping back in time to a more genteel, service-oriented age (am I right, or am I right?)

I love shopping! Especially in London, where you can get more or less everything you want! But sometimes shopping can be a bit exhausting – and you get to a point, where you just want to escape all the hustle and bustle! It was only recently that I found out, that this escape actually exist, and even better – it is placed in the middle of Oxford Street! Believe or not, it is on the roof of John Lewis
