EAT & DRINK
The secret is in the dough – a visit to London’s best pizza place “Mother”!
How lucky can one girl be? That’s the question, I asked myself, when I recently found out, that my favourite pizza place in Copenhagen’s übercool and trendy Meatpacking district had done the same as I did last year! Moved to London! YAY! A very warm welcome to “Mother”
A Thai alternative to the traditional Christmas meal
I love Christmas food… I really do! But sometimes I find the traditional servings a little bit boring – and the thought of tasting a more exotic version certainly makes me very curious! Some of you know, that I am a big fan of Restaurant Mango Tree in Belgravia, so when I heard, that they were offering Londoners a 10 course Thai Christmas meal, I simply had to go and try it out
The Tale as old as Time! Beauty and the Beast Afternoon Tea at The Kensington
How I just love entering the double-framed doors of The Kensington hotel and being welcomed by a bowler-hatted doorman! There is just something about stepping back in time to a more genteel, service-oriented age (am I right, or am I right?)
A romantic evening out at Bird of Smithfield
If there is one thing, that I love about London’s food-scene, it’s the fact that you can find the most amazing restaurants at places, where you would never expect them to be! There is nothing better than coming across a hidden little gem, and last Saturday Frenchie and I certainly found one of them!
Sticks n Sushi takes the crown! This is the best sushi in town!
Being Danish, I already knew Sticks n Sushi from the time I lived in Copenhagen! It was my favourite place to go for really good sushi and incredibly tasty sticks! So of course I was very pleased to find out, that the Sticks n Sushi founders Jens and Kim Rahbek and Thor Anderson had done the same as me – jumped on a plane and moved their concept to London!
Luxury shopping with Afternoon Tea at Fortnum & Mason
There is a place in London, that is very special to me! I simply can not pass by this department store without entering – (and coming out hours later with loads of signature turquoise bags in my hands). This place is a must-see for visitors in London – and literarily left me speechless the first time Frenchie took me here. Welcome to Fortnum & Mason!
