If there is one thing, I have been looking forward to, it was our trip to The Cotswolds! I love London - no doubt about it, but I love going to the countryside just as much. Sometimes the buses, the black cabs, the people and the noise gets to much for me, and I long for a place to be soothed, healed and have my senses put back in order! The Cotswolds do that for me!

It is not easy being pregnant and a lover of food! Living in London there are simply too many tempting places to be "eating for two!" So from time to time, it is necessary to go for more healthy choices - and that is what Frenchie and I did last Sunday!

I can still remember the first time I had hot pot! I was in Tokyo on a business trip, and I had never heard about this dish before! In Japan hot pot is called Shabu-Shabu - and just like in China and Thailand it is a beautiful, tasty broth containing a variety of East Asian food and ingredients prepared at the dining table. Amazing!

I can't believe how time flies... I feel it wasn't many hours ago, since I jumped on a plane to Denmark for Christmas celebrations with my family - and now we are officially in January 2018! Oh well, time flies when you are in good company, they say! Well, here we are... 2018! I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and celebrated New Years Eve in style!

How I just love entering the double-framed doors of The Kensington hotel and being welcomed by a bowler-hatted doorman! There is just something about stepping back in time to a more genteel, service-oriented age (am I right, or am I right?)

If there is one thing, that I love about London's food-scene, it's the fact that you can find the most amazing restaurants at places, where you would never expect them to be! There is nothing better than coming across a hidden little gem, and last Saturday Frenchie and I certainly found one of them!

As the Summer sighs its last and the days begin to shorten, it's natural to get a little bit glum. Winter is on its way, leaves are turning, you begin to notice that more people are wearing jackets, pedestrians scuttle to nearby taxis rather than walk - and it's increasingly difficult to justify wearing flip flops! I actually do like autumn in London a lot - but if you still haven't had enough of summer, here is a suggestion for you - go to Cyprus!

One of the places you simply have to visit, when you are in the Bavarian Alps is Kehlsteinhaus, a.k.a. the Eagle’s Nest! Kehlsteinhaus was built under the rule of the National Socialists as a gift for Adolf Hitler to mark his 50th birthday.
