Sunday in Kensington… The weather was lovely and it was time for Frenchie, Clara and I to spend some time together in our own hood!

We didn’t have to go far, before the fun could begin. Welcome to the NH London Kensington Hotel

Fun with daddy in the lovely lounge-area

The NH London Kensington Hotel had kindly invited us to try out their family-friendly bottomless buffet brunch, and we were super exited. I am such a big brunch fan, and this was one of a kind. Just wait and see…

Champagne? Oh yes, please! Frenchie had 4 glasses of Moet. He was a bit tipsy and in a very good mood, when he went to the hairdresser later that day!

Welcome to the lovely decorated restaurant…

Champagne, amazing food – and a little extra flair to the brunch experience with a live band playing easy-listening Latino tunes while we were dining. What is not to love?

But now to the most important part… Food!

As you can see, this is not an ordinary brunch buffet! Gorgeous oysters, big and juicy shrimps, fresh crab, seafood cocktails and…

 – super delicious mussels!

I am always a bit careful when it comes to seafood in buffets. But all of the food here was SUPER fresh and very delicious. Bonus-info: The brunch buffet is Spanish themed, which is why the seafood was exquisite

Clara and Frenchie playing with the food! So naughty – but so much fun!

Iberico ham, chorizos, Spanish (and British) cheeses… you name it!

I was so happy, I arrived on an empty stomach

Not a fan of Spanish food? No worries… This buffet even offers traditional British roast

Yummy…

The brunch also includes a chocolate fountain, mini burgers, chicken nuggets and mini fish and chips. Bonus-info: Children under five can dine for free

Would you care for some more Moet?

Oh, Yes please! (Look at Clara’s face! At the moment she wants everything, we are having!)

I honestly don’t know, where to begin, when it comes to dessert! As the photos show, this was wonderland for anyone with a sweet tooth!

The hardest part was choosing between all of these delights! Clara enjoyed her banana with a bit of chocolate from the chocolate fontaine, I was mostly into the petit fours and Frenchie had a party with the Spanish themed cakes

No diet for me today!

Time for a story…

Here comes the part that many parents love to hear…

The hotel has a special supervised children’s room with a whole host of fun activities for kids including face painting, movies and games allowing parents to drop off their little ones to play whilst they sit back and enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon. How great is that?

When Clara is a bit older, she is going to love having her face painted!

But for now, we were just playing and drawing before it was time to go home

Bonus-info: The NH London Kensington Hotel also serves tapas in their lovely outdoor garden – an experience, I certainly don’t want to miss out on!

I would like to thank The NH London Kensington Hotel for inviting us to this amazing bottomless brunch buffet. The hotel is located at 202-220 Cromwell Rd, London SW5 0SW – a  perfect location for a post-brunch stroll around the fashionable areas of Sloane Square and High Street Kensington, the Natural History and V&A museums or beautiful Holland Park
