Loving the look of Baraset Barn Hotel, it really appeals with its combination of bright modern and light finish, and the traditional brick building. I used to visit Stratford-upon-Avon when I was a student and wanted a break from studying, it was only a short drive from my uni town, and so lovely to browse the streets and shops, and enjoy the old architecture. I need to go back to explore it more deeply!

I LOVE this post Louise, I want to go NOW!!!I love the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon having been many years ago to Shakespear’s home and Warwick Castle my son was a baby, I remember it well. I love the hotel too, everything about your weekend sounds perfect :)x

Oh, my gosh! I can’t stop gawping at all those pretty pictures!
Stratford-Upon-Avon is so very charming, exactly like how I had pictured it to be, thanks to so much reading about it in several books. 🙂 I’d love to visit some time, have a picnic at Warwick Castle, and just spend the day doing nothing but looking around at all the prettiness around me and reading.

For someone who spends so much time at the Globe Theatre, it’s a disgrace I have never made it to Stratford. Isn’t it wonderful that you could make this trip with Clara, and in such comfort. LOVED the silly Shakespeare books, especially Romeow and Juliet which I am going to have to get just for a giggle. What a wonderful trip – jealous!
