I am a great fan of Mother in Cph too! So I was thrilled to find out, that I didn’t have to fly back for the ultimate sourdough pizza experience anymore! Uber is a bit easier 😉 Wuhuu!

I love Mother in Copenhagen, so I most definitely will have to visit next time I am in London. I had no idea, they had started a new place overseas! Great!

I agree regarding transport! There isn’t a tube station just around the corner, but there are plenty of busses – or be laze like we did, and grab an Uber! It’s worth it 😉

Wow, looks a lot more impressive than I’d expected. Battersea is just a bit of a pain to get to for me (not far, but not on any direct transport) or I’d be along there in a shot!

Interesting that they use purified sea water to produce a lighter dough. The pizza you had with the pesto drizzle looks divine. Love the decor and I could tuck into that tiramisu now!

I wasn´t really sure about the Gluten-free part, but after a look at Mother’s website I found this: “Our ten-year old sourdough culture (the ‘mother’ dough that informs our name) eats a lot of the gluten content so we see our pizza as being beneficial to the gluten intolerant – but of course it is not suitable for those with real gluten issues (sympathies to you guys). We do always have a few options that are completely gluten free and the kitchen will be creative in making you a special dish but please be aware that the choice is somewhat limited”

I hoped that helped a bit 🙂 It really is a wonderful place to take the entire family 🙂

Always on the lookout for a good pizza place so will definitely try this out next year. Do you know if they have gluten-free bases? Thanks to your recommendation, we go to Rosso Pomodoro a lot – they have great GF pizzas! Scarlett x
