I agree – the exploring on foot just give you a better impression of your surroundings (as long as you make sure to wear the right shoes! Especially on a warm and sunny day!)
Yes, good thing that they managed to fix the Henry Moore!

Great photos and such blue sky! I’ve been to both parks but have missed quite a lot from what you’ve shared here. LOVE the quirky ice cream trucks. The Benny Hill plaque made me giggle!

Hyde Park is such a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. The Peter Pan sculpture is beautiful. We certainly need to check out the Serpentine Bar and Kitchen when we visit again!

It is funny that you mention Speakers Corner, because I realised that I had forgotten about this one 😉 Sorry, that you where here in such a terrible weather. It isn’t much fun exploring like that… I remember I once spent three days in Florence – and it was pouring down all of the time. (But at least we can always enjoy a great meal inside, right? :-))

What a wonderful day in a massive park! It is nice you are just off and exploring you new city like that. The Albert Memorial is very impressive, and the Italian Gardens as well. Last time I went i did not get to see much. it was a Sunday and I wanted to see ‘Speaker’s Corner’ but I swear they had the windstorm of the century…winds 150km/h. Our flight was cancelled and no trains were running either.
