Catching the sun in Kyrenia
As the Summer sighs its last and the days begin to shorten, it's natural to get a little bit glum. Winter is on its way, leaves are turning, you begin to notice that more people are wearing jackets, pedestrians scuttle to nearby taxis rather than walk -  and it's increasingly difficult to justify wearing flip flops! In the footsteps of Mozart – Salzburg part I
Regarded as a musical genius, and most certainly one of the world’s most influential musicians and composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a true son of Salzburg. As you might have read in my previous post, Frenchie and I were staying at the beautiful Schloss Leopoldskron . We had two days in Salzburg before moving on to Berchtesgarden and that was actually enough to explore this wonderful baroque city following the footsteps of its most famous son and gain insights into fascinating history… (8 comments)

Exploring France’s basque country – Andernos-Les-Bains
After a few lovely days in Biarritz, Frenchie and I decided, that it was time to move on. There are SO many beautiful little towns to visit in Southwestern France, so it can be difficult to decide. However Frenchie's parents are in love with Andernos-Les-Bains and they offered to let us stay at their holiday residence, so that's where we went!
